insurance beneficiaries vs wills
My father's will splits everything 50 50. My sister is beneficiary to iras and insurance policies. Does this over ride the will?

no. specific named beneficiaries are outside the estate. The will controls those items in the will, the named bennie control those items requiring beneficiaries.
