The Lt Gov of Cal recently stated on TV that the new creed of insurance companies in regard to claims ''is to pay as little as possible and as late as possible''Is this a true statement?

The 3 Ds.....delay, deny, defend. Insurance companies are in the business of making money so of course they want to pay the least amount they can.
