You cannot avoid liability for your negligence if it causes an accident. Further, your insurance policy probably does not cover you for accidents you have while transporting people for hire. So you may have to pay any claims out of your own pocket. It is not a good idea to use a private vehicle that does not have "taxi insurance" to transport people for hire. You are putting yourself and those people in your vehicle at risk.
