Legal Question in Insurance Law in New Jersey
Selling a used car
a friend sells a used car to a person. he receives cash and
gives the title of the car to the buyer. The buyer asks
the seller to leave the license plates for a few days while
he insures and registers the car on his own. The seller agrees.The buyer after
two weeks still has not insured and registered the car on
his own. What legal option does the seller have?

Re: Selling a used car
call motor vehicle and let them know that the plates are being used without your permission. Send a letter to the buyer and let them know that you are doing this. MAke sure the car has been retitled as well
