Legal Question in Intellectual Property in New Jersey
Protecting my property, spouse had auto accident
My spouse had an auto accident 1 year ago. At the time the other person stated no injuries. We no received a letter saying she is unable to work & is going to sue. I had bought my house single 5 years before we married. Can she go after my house? The deed is still in my name alone. I also have my mother on my mortgage but not my husband. We also have not filed joint tax returns, he files as if he lives at his brothers address. Is this enough to protect my house?

WHo owned the car? WHo had the insurance? Isn't that required in NJ?
