Legal Question in Intellectual Property in New Jersey

I want to start a blog where I review other blogger's recipes, to let people know if they are actually good and worth making. Is it legal to mention and critique other blogger's recipes in your own blog (giving them credit, of course), or would I need to ask permission from each person?
