Legal Question in Employment Law in New Jersey

Bad Contractor

Is there a basic template I could use to write a letter to a contractor who promised to fix my refrigerator, took my money, and never fixed the fridge? I want to send him a letter asking him to refund my money.

Re: Bad Contractor

You should research the New Jersey Consumer Affairs Act. You can obtain a lot of information online. Here's a link to the official website where you can file an online complaint: http://www.njconsumeraffairs.gov/ocp/ocpform.htm

If you would prefer for an attorney to represent you in dealing with the fraudulent contractor, then please consider contacting me at my office. I have represented numerous individuals relating to consumer fraud issues. My phone number is 908.301.9095.
