If a company and an employee of said company are defendants in a lawsuit (nj superior court) which party is responsible for the cost of any judgement against the defendants jointly, severally and in the alternative, together with compensatory damages and punitive damages?

jointly and severally means the plaintiffs can collect all of the judgment from any and all of the defendants.
