I belive the contract I signed said he will be taking out $25.oo out of every ''paycheck'' If I quit this job can he legally take my car back even if i signed the title and if I keep paying him? Just because I dont work there anymore.

Re: Contract Question

In order to give you a more definitive answer, I would need to look at the agreement you signed.

The thing you may have to worry about is whether or not the contract contains an acceleration clause.

Typically that type of clause would state upon a given event (ie your leaving the dealership) all of the balance you owe becomes immediately due.

If you are planning on leaving your employment, you really should have the agreement looked at by an attorney (either myself or another attorney) so that you can be advised of and plan for any potential problems.

If I can be of help to you in this matter, please do not hesitate to contact me via email, [email protected], or click on my "Attorney Profile Page" for my other contact information.

Regards.
