if a contractor doesn't pay a sub-contractor for work done what can you do?

File a mechanics lien against the property where the work was performed and attempt to collect from the property owner. You can also file suit against the general contractor and the property owner for collection.

I could file a suit on behalf of the sub-contractor. I could also file a construction lien if less then 90 days had passed since the last work was performed.
