Legal Question in Employment Law in New Jersey
I curently work in NJ. My 85 year old father needs 24 hour care due to Alzheimers. He is in Florida. I have a house in Florida. I can no longer pay the monthly cost of his assisted living care so I will be moving to Florida to bring him home and care for him. Can I collect unemployment untill I can hire suitable home care people to care for him while I go to work?

It is very unlikely that you would be able to collect unemployment under theses circumstances. You may want to visit with an Elder Law attorney for advance care management of your father before you resign form your current position.
