deflamation of character

i was fired from my job because another employer lied on me and when i apllied for unemployment i was denied because they said i quit my job but i was fired?

In NJ have a limited period of time to appeal an initial denial of unemployment compensation benefits. An explanation of how to appeal will be located on your initial determination letter that you received from unemployment. If you need more help figuring out how to appeal, then go to the NJ Dept. of Labor & Workforce Development web site. If you appeal, you will get a hearing where you can testify, have witnesses testify and introduce any documents which support your contention that you were wrongful terminated.
