Legal Question in Employment Law in New Jersey

employee parking

I have a N.J. state issued permenant parking hang-tag. My casino employer is demanding that I get my physician to fill out ''accomodation '' papers in order for me to park in one of these parking spaces. (we are already allowed to park in their lot) These papers would provide some very personal info. to my employer that I would rather not divulge. Is this legal for my employer to do?

Re: employee parking

You are within your rights to ask that medical information be disclosed only to your employer's medical staff. So, you can ask your doctor to provide it directly to theirs in confidence.
