Legal Question in Employment Law in New Jersey

an employee is on stress disability. Her manager is now interrogating anyone who has talked to her even in private situations outside of the workplace.

Does a company have the right to force an employee to disclose information that was communicated to the employee during these private conversations? If feels like the company is trying to force people to disclose incriminating information
