Legal Question in Employment Law in New Jersey

I am a Female Secuirty Gaurd and was Terminated because I needed to use the restroom. I emailed my supervisor from my phone at the post becaue when I went to use the restroom, I was stopped and screamed at by the 2 store security people that worked for the store and my company was contracted out. So I emailed my supervisor and asked if I can go to the restroom and the reply was" if you leave your post your terminated" needless to say I wet my pants and had to leave post and therefore terminated. Not to mention I was never apid for a training class and certification they made me take and their handbook clearly says thats paid for. I already filed a wage claim for that pay with the NJ Dept. Labor and workforce.

My question is can you be terminated for having to use the restroom and being made to wet your pants while standing gaurd at a store. Thank you in advance for your response.

Yes, they can terminate you for such a reason; however, do you have a disability and did your employer know of this problem? If so, then perhaps there is a remedy available to you.
