Having high blood pressure puts you in the realm of being a disabled person under the ADA and State law. High blood pressure and the necessary treatment (time-off for doctor's visits; fatigue; dehydration) may require your employer to make a reasonable accommodation Even if you do not require an accommodation, if your employers uses your high blood pressure as an excuse to end or otherwise treat you differently to your detriment, then you may have a claim for unlawful discrimination.
