Legal Question in Employment Law in New Jersey

Harrased by employers?

Hello. I'm 17 years old and try to avoid going to work at all costs. My boss is very hostile toward me and curses and threatens me directly. The night manager on weekends of the store does the same. I try to avoid these people as much as I can. I'm cursed at, screamed at, yelled at, threatened, and TOUCHED by these individuals. They kicked the back of my legs, and pushed me twice. I'm very uncomfortable and I believe I'm in a hostile work enviornment. I dread going to this job everyday and believe my newly acquired anxiety and stress is from this job, primarily because of the employers. Once it was so bad, that I walked to my car, sat it in, and cried. I'm 17 years old, and a male. The last thing I do is cry, but they made it happen. What can be done about this? Is this a possible lawsuit waiting to happen? Note: I work at a supermarket, which is one of many of a Supermarket franchise.

Re: Harrased by employers?

It sounds as if you may have a case of discrimination. Please either give our offices a call, or, even better, you can e-mail me directly. I will send you a short questionnaire so we can determine how much you are entitled to recover.
