Legal Question in Employment Law in New Jersey
Harrasments, threatenings
My wife has just informed of a situation that has happened at her job today. Last night my wife left work at her schedualed time1:00 am. She told her supervisor she could not stay late that night because at 5:30 am she had to take me to the hospital to get some shots in my back which she did. Now today her boss tells her that if she doesnt bring my doctor records in on Monday or she will be in a world of crap.He used the SH** word. Now my wife feels threatened. I WILL NOT GIVE HIM MY REPORTS. I have let things go in the past with what she says happens there by him and other employees i.e Sexual jokes, sexual sayings, and threatenings. My wife has told him that she could work some nights over time but not all because she has the kids to get off to school and then she has a part time job. He tell her you better get your full time jobs priorities straight or you can find another part time job. What can she do about all of this because on monday I will call the main office then I will confront him.

Re: Harrasments, threatenings
Well, I can tell you that if you call in Monday and "confront" the boss, that you won't do your wife any favors. If you think that she has been sexually harassed at work, then she may have a claim. Call my offices or e-mail me directly. I can provide you with a short questionnaire via e-mail. If your wife feels strongly enough about the sexual harassment, then we should file a claim with the EEOC as soon as possible.
