Illegal citizen statement

In a court of law, will a statement from an illegal immigrant count as a true statement or will it be dismissed by the court?

The testimony of any person can be admitted if it complies with the rules of evidence. Citizenship is not one of the criteria that judges consider directly in determining if a person's statement is admissible.
