Legal Question in Employment Law in New Jersey

New Jersey Labor Law

I work at a commission job. Once A month the company owner has a required monthly meeting. Some people are required to be there at that time. Some people are the late shift and are required to be there 4 1/2 hours later. Some are not required to be there at all that day. Should we be compensated for that time if we are not required at that time? If this violates a law what law is it so I can read it?
