Legal Question in Employment Law in New Jersey

Labor Law

I was required to go to court today regarding a labor law issue that an ex employee had with my boss. My boss did not win the case and is now blaming my testimony on the stand for the fact that the verdict was not in her favor. I have now heard that I may be loosing my job tomorrow because of this. Is this legal for my boss to do? Do I have any legal right to a wrongful termination lawsuit if this does occur?

Re: Labor Law

It would be a very poor decision on your boss's part to fire you for giving truthful testimony. There might even be criminal liability there as well as civil.
