Legal Question in Employment Law in New Jersey

I have a part time employee working with me who is collecting partial unemployment from his previous job.

he has been out consistently and nj unemployment is paying for these days because i assume he is saying there is no work available. this is not true.

i contated the dol and they stated i would have to put a complaint in. is there any other way to do this? i feel the system is being abused for employees that do have work available, but yet are taking days off at their own leisure and payment is being made from the insurance fund.

this nonsense happens all the time, I am sorry to say. No, I do not know how you can help to stop it. Sounds like you may want to file that complaint.
