Legal Question in Employment Law in New Jersey

Last paycheck

I was laid off due to lack of work on a Tuesday after working 3 hours and had a personal day on Monday. Was told would be paid for the remainder of the week as vacation time. Still have not received the check and pay period ended 3/28/07. How long can they hold my check? What is my recourse?

NJ requires amounts due on account of wages and other earnings be paid not later than 15 days from the day they are earned.
