refusal of paycheck

is it legal for an employer to refuse to give you your paycheck that was earned in the previous 2 weeks if you quit yor job because of false accusations?

Unless there is a dispute about the amount that has been earned for wages or salary, a NJ employer may delay payment for not more than two weeks. If there is a dispute about the /amount earned/, the employer must pay the amount not in dispute. The employer is /not/ entitled to a setoff for any other reason without the written consent of the employee.
