Legal Question in Employment Law in New Jersey

The security company I currently work for does not pay their employees on time. We are supposed to get paid every 2 weeks on a Fri but they don't pay us until the following Monday or Tuesday and sometimes the checks bounce. I have been cussed at by residents and visitors of the site I work at and the company has not done anything. Are they allowed to not do anything for my safety and can they pay us whenever they feel and bounce the paychecks?

You will find it helpful to make a claim with the NJ Dept. of Labor. The returned checks are definitely a problem and the state will help you with it.
