Legal Question in Employment Law in New Jersey
I signed a contract 20 years ago with my employer is it still valid

The contract may still be in effect. The contract would need to be reviewed to determine the term, expiration, termination provisions etc. Such a review is fairly quick and inexpensive. Ping me offline if you need help with this.

Most likely not. If for example, this was a non-compete NJ courts will not enforce those beyond a few years as between an employee and employer. But the facts matter.
At a minimum, I would consult with a lawyer before taking any chances, but again I highly doubt anything in the employment realm would still be valid.
If you would like to discuss further over a free phone consult, feel free to contact me anytime that is convenient.
