Legal Question in Employment Law in New Jersey
I started work on May 21st and am currently pregnant at 21 weeks. I have been in hospital since July 16th and have to stay here for 4 more weeks according to the doctors. I wanted to know if my job is protected under any law or can the company just fire me or have the ability to offer me another position. I have only worked there for about 2 months before going out on NJ short term disability.

You have not worked long enough for your employer to establish any protection for absences under NJ law or federal laws.
