Stealing under addiction to gambling

I stole money from my job ($1600)to use for my gambling addiction....I work very close to Atlantic City. Can they put me in jail even if I make restitution and seek help for my problem???

If you paid restitution and got into a program, it is extremely unlikely that you would go to jail, as long as you have no prior record.
