Wachovia did not like the manner in which direct deposits were being made into joint checking account (was fine for 3 years)...mine and fiancee....showing as credits instead of deposits...bank reversed 22,000 back to Dow Jones (employer) and closed our account even though not all monies came from Dow Jones....for over two months we have been struggling to get money back from Dow Jones but are getting runaround...can we take legal actiom

It sounds like your recourse is against the bank. By "reversing" old deposits without authority, the bank has given back your money. You can sue the bank and let them explain why to a judge. /p/ See also: http://info.corbettlaw.net/lawguru.htm
Wow! I have heard about several big banks doing some stupid and harmful things. But this is a new world record. Please call me, I would love to look over your paperwork, find out what happened, and probably sue the daylights out of Wachovia for you. That is just plain wrong.
