Legal Question in Employment Law in New Jersey
Wage Reduction
Can an employer, without notice, cut a current employees salary even though the original letter of employment states the amount of compensatation along with the terms and conditions of employment, and there is no mention of the company's right to make any unilateral adjustments in salary in any company literature?

The answer to your question lies in the content of that letter and whether that letter creates a contractual relationship. I would need to review that letter. Please call me on Monday at 856-428-5055.
