Wrongful Termination from Job
My son was fired from a job after a employee who has a bad record with the company confronted him and started a altercation threating to kill him him in front of two supervisors and abt 4/6 witnesses people there said he had done nothing the other person had to be restrained from hitting him ,both of them were sent home he asked why since he had done nothinghe was told that they had to look into the matter the paperwork was sent from jersey to georgia days go by they do not respond when he calls them then a floor supervisor calls and tells him he was terminated and that it was a gray area and that someone from Hr was suppose to call meanwhile when he talks to the HR person there on site she had no knowledge of what the comp decided they have not given him a letter of termination or nothing nor explained why he was fired ,days go by on 10/11/07 HR said that they sent out a letter of termination along with his final check which till this date have not arrived and they still will not respond to phone calls or messages left ,what should be our course of action against this company?

It may help if your lawyer calls the company. That usually has a way of getting some action.
