Legal Question in Employment Law in New Jersey

Wrongful termination

I was terminated as a Nurse following stay in VA mental ward, although VA was told that my job was secure and would be waiting for me. I had very good job performance ratings. I was ill, my son committed suicde, my husband a 100% disabled vet was very ill, I threatened to end my life. Police accompanied the rescue squad and me to the hospital. I have been placed on Social Security Disability, but a complaint on my license was filed to the NJ Nursing Board, no action. I was truly sick when terminated.
