Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New Jersey

on february 15th my tenant informed me she needed to move out of her apartment march 1st. there was 7 months left on her lease. since i live in a summer community i can rent for the summer season, in fact i did. 6300.00 remained that she owed me, i rented the apt for 3500.00 for the summer. can i sue to recover the 2800.00 balance from her? i did not sign a release form.

You can sue for the deficientcy in the rent. It would be best to file soon while the tenant's forwarding order is still good so that papers can be served by mail.
