Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New Jersey
My landlord wants us to move because she says she needs the apartment for her daughter..but she wants us to keep paying rent until. We move and is rushing us out and we can't save trouble get a new place..what should we do

Your lease is good until it expires. You can not be forced to move until the lease expires. The LL has to comply with the NJ anti eviction act which requires notice and court order to evict you. Self help evictions are illegal and evictions must be done by a court officer. The whole process takes 1 to 3 months
