Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New Jersey

Hi, I am a landlord and I rented out my second floor apartment. The lease agreement states no other person/pets are able to move with a written permission. My question is as a landlord I am I able keep a portion of the deposit when the tenants had an additional move in the apartment for total of three months. They never notified us of the additional person until the third month, mid way they moved out. I kept one hundred dollars for every month the lease was broken.
