Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New Jersey
Our lease agreement says we are responsible for water and sewer. However we were not informed that due to a new sewer line being put in our development our bill is over $2000 year. there is a "connection" fee of $400 year plus over $300 a quarter for the water treatment Our water consumption bill is only $80 quarter. would any part of this be the landlords responsibilty?
