Legal rights of tenant when landlord faild to obtain cert of occupancy. Lease signed 3months prior.

Not clear, but the tenant may be able to file a really nasty lawsuit for 6 month's rent paid FROM the landlord TO the tenant, if it is an illegal apartment. Call me, 201 820 3460, and I will explain.
