Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New Jersey
I live in a rental apt, and I have reported on several occasions, an ongoing leak in one of my bedrooms, which happens every time there's heavy rain. I have resided at this residence for approximately 14yrs and my rent is, and always have been paid on time. What rights do I have as a tenant?

You have habitablity issues with the unit. After sending notice pursuant to the lease and an opportunity to repair, I would start escrowing the rent and have him come after you in L/T Court. Make sure the leak is documented. Call me at 908 391 5399 to dscuss the matter further
