Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New Jersey
I was a month to month tenant when my landlord decided to sell the place. I was informed I must move per NJSA 2A:18-61.1(l)3.
I moved within the provided timeframe. The new owner did not in fact move in, but instead relisted the unit with a 50% rent increase. Is this considered an illegal eviction?
