Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New Jersey

i moved into a rooming house and the landlord did not tell me that it was infested with bed bugs and cockroaches. i have told him about the problem and still nothing is done what can i do?

First check with your municipality to see if rooming houses are regulated. The NJ statutes define rooming houses as a distinct type of rental entity. Many municipalities have regulations that may help you.
