Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New Jersey
Neighbors harassing me
Do I have the right to break my lease if I am being harassed by other tenants?
We are receiving notes on our cars, have been told to many black people are moving in the complex and grounds supervisor is siding with the neighbors. Which may explain why it is taking him so long to make repairs on my refrigerator and dish washer.
I would like to move as I feel it is a hostile environment.

Re: Neighbors harassing me
It would seem that the landlord is turning a blind eye to what is going on. You should be careful by having an attorney prepare a letter terminating your tenancy. You might also consider filing a complaint with the Civil Rights Division.
Call me if you like.
