Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New Jersey

I owned a 3 family apartment building in New Jersey. My tenant has been a month to month tenant for several years. I raised her rent from 1300 to 1400 in April 2013 and another hundred dollars in February 2014 (10 months apart) through my attorney. My tenant claims that it is illegal to raise a person's rent 200 dollars in 10 months. I'm taking her to court for a non payment of rent. She has paid the 1400 late but refuse to pay the rent increase. Will I win in court?

The Anti-Eviction Act permits rent increases that are reasonable. To win in court, you should be prepared to show that the increases are reasonable under your circumstances and that they were not designed to push the tenant out.
