Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New Jersey

Parents Kicking Me Out

I am currently 23 years old and still

live in my parent's house. I have

just completed college and am

having difficulty finding a job. My

parents, however, have been

threatening me to kick me out. I

don't have much money right now

due to student loans and other bills

I have to pay. So my question is,

my parents can't actually throw me

out on the streets, can they? I

mean, I'm sure they can eventually,

but what steps would that involve

my parents going through to have

me actually permanently removed?

I heard that they would have to

evict me or something? Is this true?

Re: Parents Kicking Me Out

You are becoming very legalistic as though your parents are not your parents; did not do everything for you and you feel entitled to be carried on their backs forever.
