Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New Jersey

I recieved a wage execution from a landlord whos property i vacated 2014. we did a final walk through and there was no mention of any damages. the property was completely vacant at that time. i was never noticified of any court appearance. the first time that i was made aware of any compansion for damages was when i recieved the judgement for wage garnishment. what shoukld i do when paying a debit that does not belong to you?

You need to contest the execution and move to vacate the default. This can be done, however it is very fact specific. You need counsel to figure out if you have a basis to vacate an oppose the execution.
