Returning deposit
I gave a potential landlord $1050.00 deposit, but after recieving the keys, and attempting to clean. I realize that the place is unlivable, now the landlord won't give me back the deposit. what can I do?

It is impossible for me to tell whether you had a sufficient reason to terminate the lease. You may want to talk to an attorney, to give yourself the best chance to get the money back if you have to sue him in small claims court.
