Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New Jersey

Roommate is moving out 3 months into a 1 year lease we both signed. His name does not appear in print on the lease, but his signature is on it. I also have e-mails saved where he agrees to pay half the rent.

What can I do?

The cotenant is respnsible for his share of the rent. However the LL is entitled to the full rent from you, the cotenant or both. You may have to sue the cotenant
