security deposit
paid security deposit never signed a lease because apartment was unlivable landlord said he would mail deposit and now refuses to. What should i do ?

Assuming that your deposit was less than $3,000.00, I would suggest that you file a small claims action at the county courthouse in the county where the apartment is located. Just go down to the courthouse; ask for small claims and fill out a small claims complaint and the case will be heard in a matter of weeks.

You should get a lawyer to help you. You will want to set it up correctly and then sue the landlord.
