Can I Still Sue After over 1 year

Back like 1 1/2 years ago,i decided to move out and my landlord decided to not pay me my security deposit back.I never got a paper saying where my security deposit was, meaning in what bank, i have lots of pictures of damages to the house he refused to fix (for example..There was not cover to the outlit in the wall..the ceiling leaked into my kitchen..etc...Well my main question is,its been over a year can i still Sue?I just needed some time to settle down and get my self together first..Thank you for you tie Samantha

your landlord still owes you, and you can still sue, a year and a half is not too long. i am in north jersey so i can not really help you a lot.

maybe you can send a letter (keep a copy) asking for your money back, then sue for three times that amount. i have done that for clients before.

maybe you can get a lawyer near you to help you.

good luck!
