If I move from a residence due to safey concerns and the landlord was aware, am I required to give a 30 day notice?

Re: Tenant Right
If you claim the landlord was aware, then the landlord would already have notice, correct?
If you have not notified the landlord of the safety concern in writing, I would suggest doing so immediately. After a reasonable period of time has passed to give the landlord an opportunity to correct the safety concern, you may be able to cancel your lease agreement with the landlord if the problem has not been fixed.
I recommend consulting with an attorney to verify a breach of the lease by your landlord.
