Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New Jersey

Tenant's Rights

My landlord is re-interpreting some language in my apartment lease that was prepared through a real estate broker, reversing some verbal agreements, and entering my apartment while I'm not at home and without informing me. What kind of recourse do I have? Can I terminate the lease?

Re: Tenant's Rights

No attorney can tell you whether you can terminate the lease without finding out a lot more about your situation. I think it would be worth your money to consult with an attorney.

The landlord can not simply ignore the lease provisions, so if that is what he is doing, you need to decide what you can and should do about it.

If you would like, give me a call; I am in northern New Jersey. The telephone consultation will be free. I would be happy to help you out.
